Welcome
Emma Richter graduated from Falmouth School of Art with a BA Hons Fine Art Painting. She has been a practicing artist and lecturer in Fine Art for over 25 years working in powdered graphite and oil paint. Her focus has been working with the the body as a landscape and abstract pattern, using powdered graphite mixed with linseed oil to make mirror like imagery. Inspired by the artists Bridget Riley, Ross Bleckner and Whistler. Recently she has been rediscovering the importance of recognising her emotional connection to her femininity and how this changes. The work depicts the intimacy of catching or reminiscing a moment in time. |
